Co-op program at VAUTID

Co-op program at VAUTID

September 2017 – VAUTID GmbH approved as official training partner for DHBW University co-op program in Stuttgart

Starting in 2018, VAUTID GmbH and DHBW (the Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University) will jointly offer a new co-op study program (sandwich course) in Mechanical Engineering.

In September 2017 VAUTID became an approved training organization for the course at the University in Stuttgart, which specializes in co-op/ sandwich programs. DHBW is the first such university in Germany. With 34,000 students on roll, it is the country´s largest Technical University. More than 8,500 students are enrolled in a variety of disciplines at the Stuttgart campus alone.

The course is structured in three-month sessions, alternating between theory-based and practice-based modules. This provides a unique opportunity to gain knowledge during a theory module and then put that knowledge into practice immediately afterwards. Co-op students at VAUTID will particularly benefit, as they can work on project assignments in an international company with a flat hierarchical structure.

The courses start on 1st October each year. For the 2018 year, VAUTID is offering one place on the course in Mechanical Engineering, with an emphasis on Innovation Management and Product Management.
