2018/2019 Innovation Prize
VAUTID receives another accolade from Stifterverband
Acting on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Education and Research (BMBF), the Stifterverband für die Deutsche Wissenschaft (Donors´Association for the Promotion of Humanities and Sciences in Germany) collects figures on collaborative research and development initiatives conducted by companies and institutions in Germany.
Their “Wissenschaftsstatistik” study investigates just how much German business is investing in R&D – and, as a result, how much is being invested in the country´s future. The 2017 investigation focused in particular on capturing data on R&D activities abroad.
VAUTID again took part in the survey in 2017, and was once more awarded the “Innovation through Research” prize, which was given in recognition of the company´s extensive research work in the field of metal-based wear protection systems.
Several thousand companies take part in the survey, which covers business operating in every industry within the manufacturing and service sectors.
